Who this is for
Partition fabricators and glaziers working to a sound rating set by an architect or a client. Bring the target and we will work back to a makeup.
An acoustic interlayer is a PVB with a softer core that damps vibration between the lites. Thickness helps too, but the rating depends on the tested makeup and on how the partition is framed and sealed.

How to specify
- Target
- The rating you need and who set it, with the test standard if one is named.
- Makeup
- A makeup if you have one. If not, tell us the opening and the framing system.
- Safety glazing
- State any safety glazing requirement for the project, such as ANSI Z97.1 or CPSC 16 CFR 1201.
- Delivery
- Sizes, quantities, edge condition and receiving state.
